Summit Vans have supplied the Hull FC Community Foundation with a fully branded Ford Transit Custom to support the delivery of their HAF camps across the summer holidays. The Hull FC Community Foundation functions as the independent charitable extension of the Hull FC Rugby League club. Since its establishment in 2006, the Foundation harnesses the influence of professional sports and the local community to create substantial positive changes. This is achieved through targeted projects in four key areas: Sports and Physical Activity, Education and Employability, Health and Wellbeing, and Social Inclusion.
Their primary objective is to enhance the wellbeing of individuals spanning children, youth, and adults by involving them in sports and physical activities. Additionally aims are to elevate the aspirations and capabilities of young people and adults through educational and training initiatives. The foundation proactively collaborate with public, private, and third-sector entities that share their belief in the transformative potential of sports in addressing societal disparities.
On an annual basis, Hull FC Community Foundation’s programs engage over 15,000 participants throughout the Hull and East Yorkshire region. This encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from large-scale school events to personalized support for individuals facing crises. The driving force behind all of their endeavors is a dedicated team of fourteen skilled coaches and tutors who are deeply passionate about their work. Strategically, a group of independent Trustees guides their initiatives, each contributing expertise aligned with a three-year strategy.
At the core of the organisation lies the recognition of sports’ pivotal role in engaging, educating, and motivating people of diverse ages and abilities.
Their Mission: Inspiring, educating, and involving the local community through the influence of sports.
Their Vision: Empowering each participant with the skills, knowledge, and self-assurance to reach their full potential.
Their Aim: Cultivating a healthier and more resilient community.
